"Laissez les bon temps rouler"

Indeed the good times will be rollin' all Sunday afternoon as this traditional fun-raiser for American Repertory Theater of WNY will be held at the company's home located in the heart of the Black Rock district.

Joining in the celebration will be the slick grooves of CHILD OF FOLLY and the honky tonk piano playing of Conrad the Great Balls of Fire.

Don't miss this good time event filled with gumbo, beads, rice 'n' beans and tasty hurricanes.

Event starts at 2 pm

Price is $5 at the door (bowl of gumbo or rice 'n' beans included)

Raffles throughout the day.

Going ten years strong, The annual event saw the first one in the back of the Allen Street Rust Belt Books. In a humble gathering, the festivities saw Chris Standart direct a stage reading of Christopher Durang's hysterical FOR WHOM THE SOUTHERN BELLE TOLLS  which is an over-the-top (of course) parody of Tennessee Williams' THE GLASS MENAGERIE The festivities also saw the introduction of reading of GUMBO YA YA which has become a traditional part of the evening. Since those beginnings, the steadily growing event has seen musical acts including DOCTOR JAZZ AND THE JAZZBUGS, WHISKEY REVERB, DICK WHISKEY, THE DISTILLERY BOYS and BLACK ROCK ZYDECO adding to the good times rollin' and celebratin' with plenty of gumbo and rice n beans.
